Description

The Director of Integrated Health Programs oversees the day-to-day management, operations, and evaluation of the Integrated Health Programs portfolio while reporting directly to the Executive Director  eHealth Programs. A seasoned leader, responsible for program areas including projects, operational, and technical work related to clinical care transformation through technology focusing on quality, functionality, risk, practice and safety. Program area responsibilities include Home Care, Long Term Care, Mental Health & Addictions, Chronic Disease Management, Primary Health Care, Surgical Services, Acute Care, Registration, and Patient Order Sets.

In this fast-paced role, the Director of Integrated Health Programs serves as a liaison between the clinical and non-clinical stakeholders and the technology.  Accurately and promptly analyzes, prioritizes, and translates user needs and requests to clinical information systems. The individual facilitates communication amongst large groups of interdisciplinary end users while working collaboratively and directly with the technical experts and/or vendors.

Specific responsibilities include:
Assure alignment of program initiatives with various organizational and provincial strategic initiatives;
Foster strong relationships with internal, health sector and vendor partners;
Develop and maintain strategic informatics plans and roadmaps for your programs;
Manage capacity & demand for both operational duties and strategic initiatives;

Experience & Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in business, technology or health related field.
A minimum 7 years progressive management experience including 7 years healthcare or e-Health sectors experience.
