The Royal Hotel is looking for servers to work days, evenings(weekdays and weekends).
Responsibilities:
- Take orders for and serve food and beverage
- Clean the bar
- Provide every customer with the same great service
- Follow Health and safety procedures and identify unsafe practices or conditions
- Accurately follow cash-out procedures and secure proper payment
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, formal or French service
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
- Oral communication
- Problem solving
- Critical thinking
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Balance cash and record sales
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
