Description

Instructor, Power Engineering

SALARY:  As per Collective Agreement

POSITION TERM:  August 19, 2019 - April 30, 2020

DUTIES:

This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Power Engineering program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams.  Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance the learning experience.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

The minimum educational qualification for this position is Grade 12 or equivalent along with a 3nd Class Power Engineering Interprovincial Certificate.

The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is a minimum of two years recent and relevant 3nd Class operating experience in the Power Engineering field.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
