The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (ASOS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. ASOS is currently recruiting an ambitious and results-oriented individual to work as an Event Assistant.

The Event Assistant will work for an 8-week period, 35 hours per week on weekdays (generally between 8:30am  4:30pm) and operate as an integral part of the Fund Development Team. This position will support our current efforts and play a significant role in facilitating new strategies and revenue development efforts to support our work in confronting one of Saskatchewans most compelling and serious health care issues. They will play a supporting role in developing stewardship materials to support donor relationships, assist with special events, recruit community partners to host third party events, recruit volunteers, build relationships with donors, and assist with our donor survey. This position is open to individuals who are deemed eligible by Employment and Social Development Canada. This includes:
- is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
- is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and
- is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations

*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
