Description

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of the Recruitment & Training Coordinator. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible to facilitate the Foster Home Recruitment and Training strategies of our organization.

Responsibilities:

- To provide information and follow-up to prospective applicants on the process and timelines of becoming an approved foster parent in Saskatchewan

- To work closely with the Ministry of Social Services to provide support to applicants throughout the completion of their application and approval process

- To enroll applicants and approved foster parents in mandated training as needed

- To record all data relating to applications and home approvals as well as training registrations and certifications in Microsoft Dynamics

- To record and produce reports for statistical purposes and ongoing recruitment planning initiatives

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present educational information in a group setting
- Strong work ethic and organization skills
- Self Motivated with a positive attitude, with the ability and desire to be part of a positive working team
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Experience working in all Microsoft Software programs is required

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position that requires occasional evening and/or weekend work. Benefits include enrollment in our Group Benefits and Pension Plan.
