The University of Regina Students Union (URSU) requires an energetic, motivated, and innovative Business Development Analyst responsible for conducting ongoing research and analysis of existing businesses of the organization, assessing operational issues regarding competitiveness.
Responsibilities will include assessing operational issues regarding competitiveness, staying current in trends and innovations that may impact business interests, identifying and developing new business and partnership opportunities, providing advanced administrative support, formulating business plans and facilitating all aspects of the proposal process.
As this position is partially funded by Canada Summer Jobs, a component of the Youth Employment Strategy only those meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates must:
a) be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
b) be registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
c) be returning to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
d) be a student in a secondary, post-secondary, vocational or technical program;
e) have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment
f) be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act* and;
g) must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with Saskatchewan legislation and regulations.
*Foreign students are not eligible.
