Applications are invited for the position of a full-time permanent (8 hr/day 12 months) Outreach Worker in Nipawin based out of L.P. Miller Comprehensive School with duties to commence the beginning of the 2019 2020 school year.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Integrated Services, the successful applicant will work closely with school administration, staff, parents, the community, and other agencies to implement and coordinate programs for at-risk children as well as develop and implement effective strategies that will support all children and youth.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelors degree in Social Work or Psychology from a recognized post secondary institution
Experience working with aboriginal children and youth
Experience working with at-risk youth and their families
Strong organizational skills
Be willing to work a flexible schedule
Have a valid drivers licence with access to a motor vehicle.
