Description

The successful candidate will co-facilitate an employment/life skills program for adults with multiple barriers to employment.  The facilitator is responsible for selecting and delivering appropriate program materials, scheduling activities and assessing participants suitability for the program.  They will assist participants in developing individualized goal plans and provide support and counselling to assist participants in addressing barriers to success. The successful incumbent is responsible for providing hands on training in basic home maintenance and repairs and  for identifying and organizing work projects in the community for program participants.  The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining confidential participant records and preparing reports on attendance, activities and progress.
The incumbent must have at least 3 years experience facilitating employment/life skills programming and experience in the construction trades.  A Driver's License is required.
