Facility: Calder Centre
Job Description: This position is a senior position responsible for shift supervision of all staff, programs, scheduling, and building security at Calder Centre.  The incumbents report to Calder Program Managers.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, Chemical Dependency Studies, Psychometrician or Education
Experience
Two years supervised clinical experience in the addictions field including in-depth knowledge of concurrent disorders and one year experience working with this population.
Demonstrated successful supervision of staff  including experience with clinical skill development training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group counselling/educational programs
Willingness to work flexible hours
Sound knowledge of the Clinical Principles for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Services for Saskatchewan, the Developmental Model of Recovery, and the Trans-theoretical Model of Change
OH&S Safety for Supervisors Training
Trained in current ASIST suicide risk assessment model
Knowledge of and ability to deliver a variety of therapeutic approaches including, motivational interviewing, brief solution focused, and competency based
Ability to administer chemical dependency screening and assessment tools
Ability to be self-directed, creative, and collaborative, in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Proven ability to work with individuals and families from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds
