The Circle Project Assoc. is a non-profit, charitable, community-based organization that requires a dynamic, high-energy team player for the following position. On the job training and mentorship will be provided for this summer student position.
To qualify for this position applicant must be a must be under the age of thirty (30) years old.
Summer Student Program Support (Full-Time - Term)
Primary Duties Include:
Assist with the implementation of daily planned activities for Cultural Connection for Kids. Assist in supervising children and participate with children in activities. Assist with duties as needed throughout centre. Maintain program space and equipment. Assist with daily observations and child evaluations.
Special Event Duties: Assisting in planning and delivery of events-prepare mail outs (i.e. Invites to special guest,members, dignitaries). Attend and assist with committee meetings, assist with coordination of volunteers, prepare event files (i.e. folders containing all event information). Assist with wrap up duties, including final reporting if required.
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Computer literacy is a requirement
- Outgoing and cheery personality
- Reliable (attendance) and prompt (on time)
- Excellent telephone manners
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Multitasking
Experience in the following Computer Applications is a must:
Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher, Outlook
