Starting in Middle May - DUE TO EXPANSION - 25 positions available

Eden Care Communities is expanding our group homes in Saskatoon. We will be opening two new homes in May and will require Disability Support Workers on a full time, part time, and casual basis.

All are encouraged to apply if you have experience and/or training caring for those with physical and cognitive issues

Responsibilities:

The Care Partner works under the supervisor of the Home and Community Care Manager

The position is responsible for providing personal care and activities of daily living for residents in a group home environment located in Saskatoon.
Hours:

Due to expansion we will be recruiting for Full Time, Part Time, Casual Status. Shifts are 8 hours in length - Day, evening, night rotations.
Qualifications:

Complete Grade 12 or equivalent
Disability Support Worker Diploma is a strong asset

Certifications: Food Safe Handling, First Aid, CPR, and PCW course from St John Ambulance
Non-Restricted availability for a variety of day/night shifts as required

Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy
Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Driver's License, Vehicle
TLR, GPA, NVCI or PART are assets.

Experience providing care to those with physical or cognitive barriers
