Typical duties:
Produce x-rays or images.
Do quality control checks on radiology equipment.
Provide patients with the necessary care during examinations.
Ensure that radiation protection rules are observed.
Enter and submit the x-ray billing to MCIB,
Education and job requirements:
Have a diploma of studies in medical radiation technology
Registered member of the provincial association SAMRT
Registered member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
Previous experience using digital imaging equipment.
