Owner/Operator of Saskatoon Italian Canadian Cultural & Recreational Centre & Park (SICC)
Located at Corner of Cedar Villa Road & Highway # 7,
R.M. of Corman Park (near Saskatoon)

Park Facilities Development & Maintenance Assistant

Italian Canadian Association of Saskatoon (ICAS), a non-profit organization that is enhancing its multi-purpose Cultural Centre and Park designed for Agri-tourism, cultural, educational, and fundraising events, is seeking outgoing self-motivated individual for related outdoor and indoor work.

Primary Duties:
- Permaculture landscape and garden design, planting, and maintenance:
    - Planting trees and flowers; maintenance tasks related to yearly recreational Corn Maze, existing lawn, garden, and weed control
    - Fence construction and maintenance
- Supervision of bocce courts and grounds
- Supervision of scheduled events

As Needed:
- Cashier and basic licensed concession responsibilities
- Janitorial duties

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

- Agricultural or horticultural education
- Experience with landscaping and maintenance tasks
- Experience with basic carpentry, use of gas and electric power tools
- Experience using lawn mower, tractor, and trimmers
- Punctual and dependable
- Exceptional customer service, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to perform moderate physical work tasks
- Food Safe Handling knowledge
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum high school diploma, pursuing post-secondary education or equivalent experience (up to age 30)
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; from 10 am to 8 pm (May require some flexibility)
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
