Description

The Summer Maintenance Position is a 4-month seasonal job available from the start of May to the start of September. As the onsite representative for ICR and reporting directly to the Manager of Maintenance and/or the Senior Pesticide Applicator, having the following skills or experience with:
Carpentry, Fence building, siding installation, eavestrough repairs, exterior painting
Landscaping (edging, installing rock and mulch, trimming shrubs, trees & grass)
Experience with pruning
Spraying & hand picking of weeds
Sprinkler Repairs
Other duties assigned

OVERALL DUTIES:  
Provide responsive, professional customer service to all tenants of the facilities.
Provide communications to tenants on behalf of ICR Property Management.
Provide general status reports for all properties as scheduled and as required.
Report any and all maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
Monitor need for equipment maintenance and repair.
Responsible for proper inventory of materials and supplies.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Superior safety practices or first aid course.
Talent to prioritize work tasks; work with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.
Be open to learning and willing to share your knowledge.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License required.
Must have use of a vehicle to travel to multiple job sites throughout the day.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
Required to be on-call as necessary.
Overtime as required.
Hazards associated with the trade.
Work both indoors and outdoors.
Will be exposed to construction site.
