Treatment Coordinator Full Time/Part-Time
- Excellent opportunity for an experienced dental assistant to expand their duties into treatment co-coordinating.
- Dental treatment coordinators explain treatment and the cost associated with treatment. - They also assist with helping patients understand their dental benefits. They use everyday language to explain why treatment is necessary and what specific options would entail.
- Once a treatment is chosen by the patient, dental treatment coordinators layout potential payment plans and explain the next steps in treatment. Dental treatment coordinators also help determine ways to improve office efficiency and workflow.
- Day-to-day responsibilities as a dental treatment coordinator include outlining dental options for clients, interacting regularly with the dentist, reviewing intraoral photos and x-rays with patients, providing cost estimates and answering phone calls or e-mails from patients that have any questions about treatments.
- Must be confident, friendly, trustworthy and be able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Dentrix computer experience is an asset.

*Dental certification is not required but dental experience is necessary.
