David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a leader in the Commercial Truck and Trailer industry, to search for a Fixed Operations Manager whose main focus is to ensure the companys Customer Service standards are being met and exceeded at their branch in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
The Role:
Lead and supervise the Parts and Service departments where training will be a major part of this role along with meeting departmental goals
Liaise with the Service Department, Parts and customers to ensure quotes, pricing and inventory are all being handled in a timely and efficient manner
Familiarization with ordering and inventory systems as well as warranty documentation and policies
Maintaining appropriate inventory levels as well as tracking current shipments to ensure timely deliveries
Assist, analyze and discuss with all team members any customer concerns regarding technical and servicing issues
Updating the customers to ensure timelines are being upheld and if not, explaining delays
Smooth operations and maintenance of all departments
The Ideal Candidate:
Proof of valid drivers license, satisfactory drivers abstract, and criminal background check are required
Customer service experience
Previous supervisory or managerial experience
Previous heavy-duty truck, trailer and or bus industry experience an asset
Parts and/ or service advisor experience an asset
Multitasking, leadership, attention to detail, computer literacy all beneficial
Grade 12 education minimum
WHMIS training
Exceptional customer service skills
