Description

We are currently looking for a full-time skilled mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair Biktrix electric bikes. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of electric bikes, engines and mechanical systems.

To be successful in this role, you must have great attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have mechanical experience. As a mechanic with Biktrix, our customers rely on your expertise to get them on the open road.

Job is located in Saskatoon, SK and we offer competitive wages, benefits and a negotiable relocation package.

Responsibilities
-Complete assembly of all the different models of bicycles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and customer requirements
-Inspect bikes, engines, batteries etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
-Troubleshoot reported problems and conduct repairs in a timely manner
-Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
-Provide consultation on correct maintenance
-Continuous monitoring of all inventory, tools and parts in your workstation to ensure sufficient supplies at all times

Requirements
-Proven experience as a mechanic (valid qualification or sufficient experience, training will be provided)
-Excellent knowledge of machinery, electrical and other systems and their components
-Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools
-Ability to follow established procedures and practices
-Always be punctual and manage time effectively
-Willing to learn new techniques and skills and share what you already know
-Always maintain pride in your workmanship
-Very good communication skills
-Problem-solving ability
-Very good physical strength and stamina
-A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
-Supervisory experience considered an asset
-Knowledge of bike systems including shifting/drivetrain, suspension, braking, hydraulics, and electronic systems considered an asset
