Description

The Department of Curriculum Studies, University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a 1-year term position at the Lecturer level for the 2019-2020 academic year with a focus on teacher education specifically in the area of Mathematics Education.

As a key member of an innovative and dynamic College, the successful candidate will teach undergraduate mathematics education at Early Years, Middle, and Secondary levels. The candidate must have at minimum a completed Masters degree in the appropriate specialization and relevant experience. Applicants must have relevant Pre-K to grade 12 teaching experience. The individual is required to have, or be eligible to receive, a valid Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate. Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is also an asset. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics education and education across the Faculty. In addition, applicants will demonstrate the ability and expertise to work with community partners in mathematics education. This individual is not expected to conduct research, provide service or contribute to collegial processes in the College of Education.
