Recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, Brandt provides top quality products to its customers worldwide.  As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking Assembly Foreman for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include:

Organize the staff so that each leadhand has the required amount of manpower to meet the schedule
Help with the set up of products that supports flow and safety of work cells
Maintain all consumables and assembly supplies so that they are always above the minimum
Report all shortages to the planning department
Audit checks on quantities and quality


Required Experience:

Must be able to perform all assembly functions at an acceptable standard level
Must be able to read and understand shop drawings
Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Has some knowledge of settings and operation of oxygen acetylene cutting torch, arc welder and mig welder
Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Has some knowledge of proper maintenance of equipment under this classification
Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language when appropriate, with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
Must have excellent attention to detail.
