Looking for a great place to work with competitive wages and a full benefits package? Parkland Manufacturing Ltd, a custom steel fabrication shop, located in Esterhazy SK is in need of a mechanically incline labourers.
Applicant must be safety conscious, follow all safety procedures, have experience with power hand tools and be interested in welding/fabrication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret blue prints
Operate band saw to complete jobs and assist with various duties as required in the shop such as maintenance of equipment
Cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
Assist structural steel and fitters, metalworking machine operators or other metal workers
Drilling, iron work
Perform accurate measurements using both a metric and imperial tape measure.
Attention to detail, steady hands, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions
Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually or using hoists or other devices
Inspect finished work to ensure it is the correct size and shape, since accuracy is extremely important in manufactured work
Using a grinder, drill
Locate material
Use of over head crane
Driving forklift
