CASUAL BUS DRIVERS NEEDED
Melfort, Star City, Tisdale, Nipawin, Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Bjorkdale, Arborfield, Carrot River, Gronlid, Naicam, White Fox & Choiceland

The North East School Division is looking for friendly, responsible, and energetic individuals to add to our transportation team. School bus drivers are an important part of a student's day. They are there to greet, guide, and ensure your community's children stay safe as they travel to and from school.

As a casual school bus driver, you:
Provide transportation for field trips and relief route driving
Earn a part-time income and have weekends, evenings and holidays free to pursue other interests
Be a positive role model to local children
Support your local community by providing a service for children and parents

Requirements:
Minimum grade 10 education
Be medically and physically able to perform the duties of a bus driver
Have a Commercial Medical on file with SGI
Minimum valid class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers license (not learners or graduated license)
Currently possess or able to obtain a drivers license S Endorsement for school bus
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
Acceptable drivers abstract
Capable of using technology for e-mail, internet access, typical office software, and GPS
Must have reliable transportation

Training is provided, including the use of a bus for practice and testing.  Successful candidates will be reimbursed for costs of; commercial medical, SGI drivers abstract, criminal record check and vulnerable sector check and S endorsement testing.
