Description

Currently, we have a career opportunity for a Lab/Quality Technician to join our team. As Lab/Quality Technician you will work closely with the QA Manager to ensure that the products we manufacture adhere to the highest possible standards.
The Lab/Quality Technician is responsible for evaluating and assessing that the HACCP and Quality Assurance Programs are properly maintained in compliance with regulatory guidelines through inspection, product quality control, analysis, data collection, and reporting of findings.
Analytical Tasks
-Conduct routine and non-routine testing using general laboratory and analytical equipment
-Prepare samples for analysis and perform a variety of laboratory tests using standardized lab procedures
-Operate and perform routine maintenance of instrumentation
-Ensure accurate recording of all test data, evaluate findings, and review reports
-Accountable for accuracy of results and data entry, following standard SOPs and QA/QC protocols.
Food Safety & Quality Tasks
-Ensure food safety and product quality
-Monitor and verify routinely all aspects of production; take corrective actions when needed
-Report process deviations and product failures, assist with investigations and help develop solutions
-Perform inspections including relevant physical and analytical testing on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, bulk products, and finished products.
Qualifications
-A chemical technology diploma or equivalent
-Experience in a Quality related role and knowledge of a GMP/HACCP regulated environment  (preferred not required)
-Dynamic, energetic, motivated, with a positive outlook and a willingness to help where needed
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
-Great organization and keen attention to detail
-Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or as part of a team
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
