The Moose Jaw Housing Authority is the first and longest-running Housing Authority in Saskatchewan. We are the major provider of safe, secure, and affordable rental housing in the city. Programs and services are based on the principles of community development, consumer empowerment, and collaboration with our partners.
The Authority is seeking a candidate for the above position to start as soon as possible. The successful person will be a member of the management team, supervising five unionized staff while reporting to the General Manager.
S/He is responsible to ensure the Authoritys' rental housing programs are managed according to relevant legislations, regulations and policies.
The knowledge, skills and abilities required will typically be obtained through a combination of formal post-secondary education (university degree, diploma, or certificate) in a related field and 3-5 years of progressive management experience.
Qualifications and characteristics of the successful candidate include:
-Demonstrated skill as a program and personnel manager in a human services environment;
-Above average knowledge and use of information technology systems;
-Working knowledge of applicable acts, regulations, legislation;
-Highly developed administrative and organizational skills.
A criminal record check prior to commencing employment is required. S/He will be bondable, possess a clean driving record, and have a reliable personal vehicle for use at work.
