The Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join its Human Resources department in Regina. The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing implementation of Brandts health and safety program at its locations across Canada and the USA.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
-Active, hands-on management of the corporate health and safety function, and its staff.
-Ensuring the companys health and safety program is current and complies with relevant requirements.
-Providing sound, professional advice and guidance to the organization regarding health and safety.
-Developing and implementing strategies for organizational excellence in health and safety.
-Managing associated programs including return to work/stay at work and the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program.
-Monitoring, analyzing, and communicating monthly, quarterly, and annual health and safety performance.
-Acting as the main point of contact for all regulatory matters (e.g. OH&S, OSHA, WCB, etc.).
-Travelling extensively throughout Canada and the USA to monitor and support the health and safety program and its implementation.

Qualifications:
-Minimum three years experience leading a team of health and safety professionals in a fast-paced business environment.
-Solid foundation of health and safety knowledge related to one or more of Brandts operations (e.g. manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment and trailer sales and after market support, etc.).
-Achievement of or evidence of working towards a Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals designation (CRST or CRSP), or other recognized professional safety designation.
