Description

Promptly attends to customers in a friendly and professional manner

Ensures that unoccupied tables are always set and ready for customers

Pulls out chairs for customers as they arrive
Handles any other duty as assigned by the restaurant manager

 - Advise on menu selections

 - Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
 - Prepare and serve flambes and other specialties at customers' tables
 - Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
 - Store wines
 - Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
 - Perform sensory evaluation of wines
 - Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
 - Describe and advise on wine selection
