Description

The tasks and responsibilities of the Content and Marketing Intern are:
- Work as part of a content creation team with alongside the Community Relations Coordinator and Content Specialist to digitally capture videos, still photos, and audio content for the production of safety-themed public service announcement projects.
- Transport, setup, and operate video cameras, audio, and lighting equipment. Assist in staging, set, prop, and site preparation.
- Work with others to Prepare storyboards for safety content.
- Work with a team to contribute to and create content for the Saskatchewan Safety Council blog.
- Represent the Saskatchewan Safety Council at various community events, interacting with clients and the general public to create positive and lasting impressions.
- Assist in development of activities for booth activities as required.
- Set up and take down booth at community events.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This position is partially funded by Service Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs program and as such, is open to applicants between the ages of 15 and 30. Canada Summer Jobs is a component of the Youth Employment Strategy.

The Content and Marketing Intern must be:
- Organized and possess time management skills.
- Skilled in the operation and use of cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.
- Willingness to learn and stay current with trends and changes as related to projects.
- Available to work flexible hours as Council initiatives, at times, take place during evenings and weekends.
- Professional in appearance, courteous, and able to work with and maintain relationships with Council members, community partners, volunteers and staff.
