Description

The Town of La Ronge Airport Department manages and maintains airside and groundside grounds and facilities.

Detailed Job Description
The successful candidate shall:
- Report directly to the Airport Manager, the Airport Lead Hand or Airport Operator responsible for supervision.
- Gain experience in airfield maintenance, equipment maintenance and general grounds keeping.
- Work Monday through Friday 7:45am-4:00pm (lunch break 12:00pm-1:15pm)
- Hourly Wage $15.50/hour
- Location: La Ronge, SK.

General Duties include:
- assist with airfield maintenance (airfield lighting, crack sealing, fence repair, etc.)
- assist with groundside maintenance (turf maintenance, cutting, raking, etc.)
- building/structure maintenance
- general clean up
- perform other related duties as required

Required Student Skills & Competencies:
- must be 16 years of age and hold a valid Saskatchewan Driver's License
- punctual, energetic and self-motivated individual
- submit a criminal record check
- able to work unsupervised in certain instances
- committed to work responsibly in an environment where safety and security is paramount
- works well as part of a team and independently
- comfortable in dealing with the public
- First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
