Description

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Employer Program Supervisor is responsible for effective development and delivery of the newcomer employment program and managing the day to day activities of the employment unit.
Job Responsibilities:  Oversee the planning, development and implementation of newcomer employment program.
Responsible for the development and implementation of procedures that support effective program delivery.
Daily supervision of employment team workers.
Provide on-going leadership and directly supervise employment team workers performance.
Oversee the assessment, tracking, evaluating and reporting of program outcomes to unit manager and program funder.
Identify trends and evaluate current programs to ensure a high degree of innovation and quality in services.
Ensure an environment that provides excellent client experience.
Maintain healthy relationship with other settlement serving agencies and community.
Identify and build relationship with potential community partners.
Represent the agency at meetings relating to employment program.
Responsible for writing proposals and grants for program funding.
Coach and provide ongoing support for team members to ensure program success and staff retention.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the unit manager.

Required Skills & Experiences
Experience in networking and relationship building.
Excellent people relation skills.
Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Good knowledge of Canada immigration system and settlement services.
In-depth knowledge of Saskatchewan labour market, and other community services that address employment barriers.
High level of independent problem solving skills and demonstrated anility to take initiative.

Education Requirement
Bachelors degree in related field, and minimum two years experience in a supervisory capacity.
Other Requirements. Own Transportation, Clean Criminal Record
