Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a leading manufacturer, to recruit a Glazing Estimator or Glazing Manager. This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Saskatoon. If you are an energetic professional with experience in a manufacturing and construction environment this is a great opportunity for you!

The Role:
Involves all tasks relating to procurement and execution of projects within the glazing department
Manage and coordinate with field personnel
Monitor existing processes, develop alternatives/improvements, and support initiatives to solve manufacturing inefficiencies, reduce waste, and ensure on-time delivery
Oversee and deal with all department duties including everything from management-level tasks all the way down to field-level details and addressing employee concerns

The Ideal Candidate:
Education in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills
Familiar with all aspects of construction from both a practical and technical standpoint, including measuring, fabrication, and installation
A hardworking, energetic professional who is well connected in the industry and demonstrates solid business sense
Willing to take on duties as required, regardless of hierarchy or title
Project Management Experience in a manufacturing and construction setting is mandatory
