THE PRINCE ALBERT CO-OPERATIVE HEALTH CENTRE
Offers a Career Opportunity for an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This is a leadership position that reports directly to an elected Board of Directors and is responsible for overall operations of the health centre that employs approximately 100 health care professionals and support staff that work in partnership with a 12 member medical team at the Health Centre.  
This position is responsible for the delivery of primary health care services to the City of Prince Albert and surrounding communities as per a service agreement with the Ministry of Health and the strategic direction of the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is supported by a team of five program managers with a provincial operating budget of approximately 8 million.
The Executive Director ensures an optimal level and quality of service, adequate staffing levels to meet program needs and manages financial and human resources of the health centre.  This position facilitates board decision making through the provision of relevant information, statistics, research, advice and administrative support.
The successful candidate will possess a masters degree in public health administration / human services, or will have a combination of health care postsecondary education with extensive working experience in health care administration.  A working knowledge in primary health care delivery and community health centre management along with Carver model governance experience would be very advantageous for candidates.
