Description

Our client, READ Saskatoon addresses and supports the advancement of literacy and learning in our community. READ provides access to a range of literacy services for adults and families through the work of staff, trained volunteers and community partners.

We are looking to grow our team by adding a Financial Literacy Facilitator.

Working closely with the Program Manager and the Financial Literacy Coordinator, you are responsible for the oversight, facilitation, and administration of all aspects of READ Saskatoons RESP financial literacy initiatives.

Duties include:
    Adhere to the scope of the project and contract as negotiated with financial literacy funders;
Create and managed a detailed work plan, which identifies and sequences the activities with benchmarks/milestones needed to fulfill the objectives of the program, as well as the strategic direction of the agency as it relates to financial literacy work
Plan financial literacy programs within community partnerships that match identified target demographic;
Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and conduct continuous and annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework;
Prepare money management and RESP workshop materials;
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities;
Work with community partners to deliver money management and RESP programs and events throughout the community
Facilitate programs and coordinator events
Lead financial literacy volunteers per the established policies and practices of the organization;
Ensure that client and volunteer personnel files are properly maintained and kept confidential
