In 2018-19, SaskGaming undertook the development of an Indigenous Employment Strategy. The Consultant will lead the implementation of a variety of initiatives that support this strategy over the two year term in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. These initiatives will involve, but are not limited to increasing outreach activities through Indigenous community partnerships, measures to promote Indigenous hiring and actions and initiatives to retain Indigenous employees.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Services, the successful candidate will implement the Indigenous Employment Strategy and will assist in the achievement of SaskGamings annual and long term Indigenous corporate representative workforce goals. The vision is for SaskGaming to be recognized as an Indigenous employer of choice by both job seekers and Indigenous communities.
