Elance Steel Fabricating is looking to fill the position of Structural Detailer
Candidates should possess the following requirements:
Experience as a structural steel detailer in both the commercial and industrial sectors
A thorough comprehension of structural and architectural contract drawings
Experience with computer aided detailing software (X-Steel is preferred)
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A dedicated team player with strong communication skills
The ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
The successful candidates responsibilities will include:
Detailing and/or checking of drawings and assembly plans for steel structures
Examine drawings and specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of data according to structural and architectural drawings
Working with a drafting team as required
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
