Custodial Worker
General Description
Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre, the Custodial Worker will maintain the cleanliness of the facility and be responsible for maintaining a safe environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be responsible for cleanliness of facility, including lobby, washrooms, offices, gymnasium and kitchen space.
Be capable of conducting minor repairs to facility.
Be responsible for supervising and maintaining a safe environment within the facility.
Performs work in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organization, as well as perform other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Director.
Skills and Requirements
Must have a minimum of Grade 12
Experience in cleaning and maintenance of a building.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
The ability to make decisions logically and within delegated authority.
The ability to work independently; must be self motivated.
Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and shift work.
Present a current CPIC.
