Job Description
Administrative Assistant (summer student position) will assist in supporting SIMFCs event such as the annual Aboriginal Graduation Gala, Indigenous Peoples Day Celebrations, fund raising events, and the Folkfest Festival at the Indian and Metis Pavilion
Duties include writing and typing up letters and business correspondence, faxing, photocopying, proof reading, data entry, checking and responding to emails, updating Facebook page and SIMFC website, creating posters for these events, answering phone calls (when required), filing, assisting the Programs Manager prepare for community meetings, running errands, carrying out various administrative duties as assigned, must have computer skills and be willing to participate in SIMFC events. The student will work in an office type environment. This is a 15 week position (35 hour work week from mid May to August 31, 2019).  The SIMFC Community Programs Coordinator and Programs manager will supervise and provide direction to the administrative assistant.

This position could be for either a high school or post secondary student.
-First Nation candidate preferred
-Must be a current and returning student and submit proof.
-Must live in Saskatoon.
