The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Utilities Operator Level II in our Public Works department. Under direct supervision of the Public Works Utilities Supervisor, the Utilities Operator level II is responsible for all the daily operations & maintenance of water and wastewater facilities but not limited to transportation responsibilities.
Requirements:
High school education plus three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Class I certification in Water/Wastewater would be an asset.
The ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications needed for water, sewer and small equipment operation and take additional courses as needed and/or required.
Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract.
Mechanically inclined with aptitude for operation of motorized mechanical equipment.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods of time under various weather conditions.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
