The position acts as a recognized expert for Systems Operations, defines software architecture direction, and defines testing requirements and technical policies.
Work involves the highest levels of complexity and impact. The position develops plans re: trends, software policy, and direction. Provides leadership to staff, including software experts, in a broad area of major software architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Mainframe Operating System Support for ISM Canada customers covering the following areas:
Mainframe System Software management
Installation of base operating system (z/OS)
Installation and support of other system software components (e.g. TWS, JES2, ISPF, ISV product sets including CA-TSS, CA1, CA7, Compuware Abendaid, etc.)
KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Skill level 5 in Mainframe Operating systems (z/OS) and tools.
Skill level 5 in Mainframe Operating System related software.
Skill level 5 in Mainframe Network environments (OSA, ICC)
