We are currently recruiting for an ABE instructor will provide English Language Arts Instruction and tutorial support primarily to adults registered in Essential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP) and Adult 10-12 programs. Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to; ESWP PLATO, ELA A10, B10, A30, and B30; and Native Studies 30. The instructor may also be required to teach other subject areas as assigned.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and perform other related duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this positions is a Bachelor of Education Degree with an English major; Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate; Accreditation credential for English Language Arts as well as strong computer skills are considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
