ULS is currently looking for a Certified Irrigation Technician / Foreman to work in our Saskatoon office. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Foreman will be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 crew members and ability to design & install commercial irrigation systems in the range of $5k-$300k+
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot existing commercial irrigation systems and complete all necessary repairs
Produce as-built drawings for newly installed systems
Perform start-ups, seasonal adjustments, and weatherization
Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system, including automatic valves, controllers, and wiring
Control and observe all the zones on the system to check for proper operation
Adjust sprinkler head rotation, nozzle size and spray patterns as needed to ensure efficient coverage and water consumption
Inspect the controller clock and modify zone run times as needed to compensate for wet or dry conditions in the landscape
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role
Certified Irrigation Technician certificate
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Previous landscaping experience is an asset
