Accountable for planning, implementing, and maintaining a reliable, secure, cost-effective, high-performance IT environment that supports all aspects of SecurTeks Strategic Plan, and includes leveraging both internal expertise, and SecurTeks various partnerships.
Typical Job Duties
-Responsible for the planning, research, standardization, design, provisioning, implementation, security and support of the IT environment including but not limited to:
- asset tracking and technology refresh planning
- network planning and management
- service desk management
- manage cloud-based services and hosted services
-Accountable for the development of internal service targets and ensuring the IT team meets and exceeds these targets.
-Provide hands-on leadership, direction and coaching to an entrepreneurial staff.
-Defines strategies for IT management processes such as support procedures and IT standard processes (ITIL/ITSM).
-Ensures sound financial control by developing annual operating and capital budgets and monitoring and reporting of department performance to budget.
-Develop comprehensive implementation plans for the supported environment which includes testing, training, conversion, hardware installation, security vulnerability assessments, release management, audit and backup procedures.
-Responsible for business process consultation and improvements that enhance the internal and external customer experience and decrease IT related operating expenses.
Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree in IT or related discipline, OR a Technical Institute diploma in IT combined with extensive experience in the application of IT principles and techniques, architectures and planning methodologies.
-Demonstrated analytical, business, and technical leadership in delivering IT products and services with a customer focus.
-Thorough knowledge of PMBOK gained through education and/or experience.
