ULS is looking for Landscape Construction Foreman and Labourers to work in our Saskatoon Office. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the construction of residential and commercial landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining ULS client relationships
Foremen responsible for demonstrating strong leadership skills and overseeing a team up to 4
Ability to read construction plans and layouts; Construction/installation of various structures including earthwork, patios, decks, waterfalls, retaining walls, carpentry, interlocking pavers and water features
Material ordering
Rough and fine grading as well as laying sod and rock work, planting, soil placement
Planting trees, shrubs, perennials and willow staking, among other landscape remediation type tasks
Operating and troubleshooting a variety of equipment with valid operating certifications (skid steer, loaders, tandems, sanders)
Proper loading and driving of trucks and trailers
Overall quality assurance on delivery and completion of tasks
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma
Valid Drivers License (class 5), ability to provide copy of drivers abstract and own reliable transportation
3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role
Demonstrated leadership experience
Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance
Exceptional customer service skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports
Strong adherence to ULS safety policies and protocol
Legally authorized to work in Canada
All successfully candidates must provide a recent criminal record check as part of employment
