NLSD No. 113 invites applications for the position of (2) temporary full-time

(1)    Apprentice Carpenter  Sandy Bay
(1)    Apprentice Carpenter  Cumberland House

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 requires 2 talented, ambitious and self-motivated apprentice carpenters that can work independently and with other team members; must be trustworthy, have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

The successful candidates must be a minimum 18 years of age; eligible for registration as an apprentice with Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission with a minimum of Grade 12; unemployed or underemployed with a strong interest in Carpentry and be able to work effectively with a minimum of supervision. As this position is partially sponsored by Gabriel Dumont Institute, the successful applicant must be of Aboriginal ancestry.

One (1) position is a temporary full-time position based in Sandy Bay, SK and one (1) position is based in Cumberland House, SK.  Must be willing to travel to various locations.  
  
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 offers the following:  competitive base wage, shift schedule varies depending on position, paid for benefits package (i.e. vision/dental/health), sick leave entitlements, housing may be available, tool allowance, and mileage paid.
