Summer Student JobSHINE Lloydminster is seeking Wellness Coaches to work with students and their families. The position is based in Lloydminster. The SHINE Wellness Coach will be assigned placement within our elementary schools both in Lloydminster Catholic and Lloydminster Public Schools. The SHINE Wellness Coach will work under the direction of our SHINE Program Manager with the assigned school administration and staff to provide integrated, school-based, community mental health prevention, promotion and early intervention programming. This will include working with students, staff, parents, and community members. The SHINE Wellness Coach will implement programming to students as designed using research-based methods.
A Bachelors degree in a related human service is required. Applicants must provide a clear RCMP Criminal Record with a Vulnerable Sector Check and a Child Intervention Check at time of interview. A reliable vehicle is essential.
There are six SHINE Wellness Coach positions. There will be full time 12-month contracts and 10-month contracts with two starting in August and the others starting in September. One position includes a program manager training component. Interviews will be scheduled in June as soon as a suitable list of candidates has been selected.
