Are you an experienced 1A Driver? Do you have experience driving Super Bs over long hauls? Are you ready to get to work right away? If so, we have an opportunity for you!
Our client in Saskatoon is looking to hire multiple PERMANENT 1A Drivers to join their expanding team! You will be responsible for using commercial vehicles to pick up freight at designated warehouses and deliver to the appropriate drop off areas. You will be responsible for knowing and working under the guidelines set by company policies concerning health and safety vehicle regulations. By completing driver logs and reports, you will ensure that proper compliance is maintained with service hour regulations. The successful applicant for the position of 1A Driver will have previous experience as a commercial driver, and will maintain a valid 1A drivers license and a clean five year drivers abstract. The successful candidate will also conduct pre and post trip inspections on company vehicles, and provide proper operation and maintenance of relevant equipment. Other responsibilities such as maintaining shipping and loading documents, as well as reporting hazards and risks will be assigned as required.

The applicant must have:
A valid 1A Drivers license
A clean 5 year drivers abstract, pulled within the last 30 days
Previous experience as a commercial driver
Previous experience operating Super Bs and long hauling
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, and write English
WHIMIS training is an asset
The ability to pass criminal background checks
The ability to legally work in Canada
