Hospitals of Regina Foundation is Saskatchewans premier fundraising organization, established in 1987. The Foundation raises funds to enhance areas of health care in Reginas three hospitals Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
The Communications Officer reports to the Director, Marketing and Communications, and assists in the planning, development, and execution of effective communications and marketing strategies for the Foundation.
This position is both creative and strategic in nature, and requires an individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented with the ability to juggle competing priorities. Writing is a key component of the job and we require someone who has extensive experience with Canadian Press style and writing for various mediums.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field and/or experience may be considered
Minimum five years of relevant communications experience; experience in a non-profit is an asset
Proven experience with website content management and social media success
Sound knowledge of video production
Experience working with external service providers including agencies, creative consultants, production suppliers and media
Accreditation through International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) or Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is an asset
