Do you have a genuine passion for global citizenship education, art and place-based experiential learning?

SCIC is seeking a confident, motivated and resourceful individual with professional experience with Saskatchewans formal education curriculum (K-12), including lesson design, and classroom experience, to help us to promote, adapt and develop accessible teacher resources, engage a network of teachers, and increase global citizenship education in classroom across the province. Over the next four years the successful candidate will work to create and sustain active partnerships with school boards, education faculties, teacher federations and other learning institutions.  Peer leadership, workshop facilitation and expanded teacher training, are considered assets. The successful candidate must have the ability to travel and work flexible hours. Familiarity with the international and community development, human rights-based approach to humanitarian assistance, and the Saskatchewan non-profit sector considered an asset.
