Description

Are you passionate about youth leadership and youth empowerment programming? Do you have creative ideas about sharing stories, validating youth experience and creating strong global to local connections?

SCIC is seeking a motivated, highly organized, and innovative facilitator, who has extensive experience with program design and implementation. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of global to local connections, youth empowerment (with a specific focus on female-identified and Indigenous youth), creative arts-based learning, storytelling and a deep understanding of intersectionality and solidarity education. A proven record of experience working within a variety of cultural environments is considered an asset.  For the purposes of this four-year programming opportunity, youth may refer to school aged (grades 6-12) and/or young adults aged 18-29. The successful candidate must have the ability to travel and work flexible hours. Familiarity with the international and community development, human rights-based approach to humanitarian assistance, and the Saskatchewan non-profit sector considered an asset.
