Great Plains Ford is part of the Olympic Auto Group, with over a dozen dealerships, across 4 Canadian provinces, and more than 600 team members strong. We are looking for a client focused Service Manager to join our team to help provide an exceptional experience for our clients.
We are looking for a person who is a leader, excels at team building as well as customer service and someone who enjoys and thrives on a challenge. in this important role you will:
Create goals and objectives for the team based on forecasts
Monitor financial reports
Come up with action plans to increase business
Ensure that the department meets all customer satisfaction and financial goals
Organize and facilitate training
Ensure manufacturer training courses are completed by employees
Ensure warranty claims are processed and forwarded to the manufacturer
Ensure all OH&S regulations are being followed
Open and close work orders
Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicles work will be completed
Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly
Review work performed, answer any questions and explain charges and coverage
