  DENTAL HYGIENIST
OPEN COMPETITION
For the Community of La Ronge

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Health Services Department is now inviting applications for a permanent full-time Dental Hygienist position for the community of La Ronge.  Under the direction of the Dental Supervisor, the Dental Hygienist will provide diagnostic, operative, community and preventative dentistry service to children in the LLRIBHS Dental Program.

Duties:
    Patient Assessment including the review and documentation of dental history, status and treatment;
    Provide Oral Diagnosis, interpret findings and needs assessments;
    Treatment planning, case management and referrals;
    Deliver a Dental Care Program to enhance awareness and improve the oral health status of all LLRIB Members;

Qualifications:
    Diploma of Dental Hygiene, and registered to practice in the Province of Saskatchewan;
    Experience in planning, scheduling and implementing work programs;
    Self-motivated and able to work independently;
    Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, public relations and problem solving skills;
    Demonstrated ability to prepare written reports;
    Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
    Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset;
    Must have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License and the ability to travel;
    Security Clearance: Current Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening and Drivers Abstract required upon hire.
