Reporting to the Director of Wellness, the Integrated Wellness Coordinator will primarily be responsible to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate care and support of STC members and STC member First Nations. This role will also oversee program management to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverables. This position will be expected to respect and protect the rights of First Nation citizens, including but not limited to their right to independence, autonomy, and self-determination; their right to choose and practice individual values, beliefs, religion, and culture; their right to privacy and dignity.
RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES:
Utilize leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build community partnerships;
Oversee program management to ensure effective milestone planning and timely completion of deliverables;
Monitors and evaluates programs and services for compliance and quality of care, make recommendations for improvement based on best practices and cultural relevance;
Prepare and present proposals relating to departmental budgets, resource allocation, and work processes;
Ensure commitment to quality, client safety, and risk management initiatives consistent with accreditation processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in health or social sciences, or a field appropriate to the position;
Five years of experience in an appropriate field, including supervisory or management experience;
Registration or licences appropriate to the position;
Ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with STC member First Nations, people of different ages and cultures, in potentially volatile and emotionally charged situations.
Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment.
